    1. Ray, it's phrases like that which remind me how much I miss living in Scotland!

  4. Always around... by the way Mrs. History PhD is still interested in spare .50 and some M60s (LMG not tanks)?

    1. Indeed she is. Peter Pig seem to sell both, but they show no sign of wanting to sell them to me, despite repeated emails to them on the subject. Funny way to run a business.

    2. uhm, sometime their spam filter is too aggressive, and sometime the mail just end up overlooked in periods of too much business or holidays... basically Peter Pig is Martin and his wife. Anyway I have some plastic ones (PSC and FOW) with me in London I can quickly post to the US!

If you prefer to go with the Peter Pig approach they have a pack on their online store of .50 hmg for vehicles (WW2 US section) and .30 lmg (not M-60, the older browning M1919) int he AK-47 section.

    1. Thanks. I just found the blog; I was looking for tips and ideas for Vietnam wargame terrain. I recently started FoW:Vietnam and CDS myself. Too bad you don't live closer, we could get a game in!

    2. Unfortunate, but I'm always available to offer advice. I did 18 mos in NE Thailand in the early 80s. It's very very like Vietnam terrain and weather-wise.

    3. When I began writing this blog, I wrote a couple of posts on Vietnam terrain. Click on "Vietnam" in the subject index.
